- FLHSMV UPDATE USE OF ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE in connection with Odometer Disclosure Declaration May 06 2020– Effective May 1, 2020, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) will begin accepting electronically signed versions of HSMV 82040 (Title Application), HSMV 82101 (Duplicate Title Application), HSMV 82993 (Odometer Disclosure Statement), HSMV 82994 (Motor Vehicle Reassignment Supplement) and HSMV 82995 (Motor Vehicle Power of Attorney/Odometer Disclosure) forms used to make odometer disclosures submitted by dealers and manufacturers. The electronic signatures must be obtained in accordance with requirements set forth by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Rule 49 CFR 580 for assurance Level 2.
EPA Makes It Easier for Consumers to Find Safe Disinfectants to Fight Coronavirus
The Environmental Protection Agency released its List N Tool, that allows users to quickly identify disinfectant products that meet EPA’s criteria for use against COVID-19. The new app:
- Gives businesses and consumers critical information for cleaning and disinfecting buildings.
- Provides a list of more than 400 surface disinfectant products that meet the agency’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19).

- Undelivered goods: Online sellers claim they have in-demand products, like cleaning, household, and health and medical supplies. You place an order, but you never get your shipment.
Report from The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and Commissioner Nicole “Nikki” Fried.
Consumers who have been a victim or know someone who has been a victim of the scam, should report scams to the FDACS Division of Consumer Services at 1-800-HELP-FLA (1-800-FL-AYUDA en Español), or online at FloridaConsumerHelp.com. Consumers can also use our online Check-A-Charity tool to learn if a charity is properly registered and if your money is going to benefit victims of coronavirus, and report concerns to the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov/complaint.
